The breakfast at the hostel was delicious and had a wide variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing information about local activities and tourist destinations. The location was convenient, with easy access to public transportation and a short distance from the city centre.
The room lacked certain amenities such as curtains for added privacy and shelves to store personal belongings. the bunk bed ladder was unstable and could be potentially dangerous.

During our stay at Hostel Montana, we were impressed with the cleanliness and modernity of the rooms. Each room had its own bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. The common areas, including the large common room and well-equipped kitchen, were also clean and well-maintained. We appreciated that the staff was willing to go the extra mile by preparing a breakfast to-go for us when we had to check out before the breakfast buffet opened. Additionally, the hostel's location on a hill provided an amazing view of Bergen, especially during sunset. The hostel also offered social activities, which allowed us to connect with other guests. The friendly staff and great breakfast definitely added to the positive experience.

My stay at Hostel Montana was a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my time there. The breakfast provided was delicious and the social activities offered were a great way to meet and connect with fellow travelers. I particularly enjoyed the amazing viewing point at the hostel, which offered breathtaking views of the sunset.
While my overall stay was great, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The mattresses in my room were a bit too soft and there was a noticeable gap between them, which was a bit uncomfortable.
